What can go wrong, quite often does go wrong. Much like diving itself, looking after your gear is all about mitigating risk and creating redundant safety practices. Although it is usually your M28 that looks after you, you must return the favor and take precautions to assure the longevity of your precious computer. The M28 Blind Plug should be covering up the port on your M28 whenever it is not plugged into your SE7EN. This will keep dust, water and anything else unwanted from getting into it, and in the unlikely and unfortunate even that it takes a swim without you, it will still be functional.
- This is necessary if you wish to dive your M28 open circuit
- Plugs can also be used to protects ends of SE7EN cables
